Hier mal eine Neuvorstellung meines letzten Neuzugangs in mein Depot.
Die Bank of Nova Soctia ist in Deutschland nahezu unbekannt - was ich bedauere, denn die Entwicklung der Aktie spricht eigentlich für sich. Es handelt sich um die zweitgrößte Bank Kanadas.

Scotiabank steigert Gewinn
Die Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank), die viertgrößte Bank Kanadas, veröffentlichte am Dienstag ihre Ergebnisse für das vierte Quartal 2004.
Demnach konnte der Nettogewinn im Berichtszeitraum gesteigert werden. Er wuchs im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 7 Prozent auf 708 Mio. C-Dollar an. Der Gewinn je Aktie verbesserte sich von 63 C-Cents auf 69 C-Cents.
Des Weiteren gab die Scotiabank die Höhe der Jahres- Dividende bekannt. Für das Gesamtjahr wird den Aktionären nun eine Dividende in Höhe von 1,10 C-Dollar je Aktie ausbezahlt.
Die Aktie notiert aktuell in Toronto bei 37,16 C-Dollar.
Insgesamt betrug der Gewinn in 2004 2,82 C-$, das KGV liegt auf Basis dieses Gewinns bei ca. 14.

Was mir gefällt ist, das die Dividende in 29 der letzten 33 Jahre gesteigert wurde und die Geschäftsergebnisse langfristig zu steigen scheinen. Die Bank scheint mir ein Langläufer zu sein, der eine ordentliche Rendite bringen sollte. Für Kurssprünge bleibt hingegen wenig Luft. Ich setze hier auf ein langfrisitges Investment.
